It is no longer enough to simply serve luxury coffee. Coffee consumption has today overflowed from coffee shops into our homes and workplaces but what remains a constant is what consumers expect from their chosen brand.
This isn’t just about quality.
Upon rebranding our Café Casa label earlier this year, we prioritised what is important. That’s why Café Casa conforms to some of the key trends in coffee innovation, starting with sustainability.
Coffee trends: sustainability.
We’re sure you don’t need us to tell you that sustainability is a hot topic throughout the world. Not just with your coffee, but in all walks of life.
A study from Deloitte uncovered that 85% of UK consumers are now more environmentally aware of the choices they make, from the clothes they wear to the products they consume to the appliances they use. Indeed, sustainability is one of the most important coffee trends.
From crop to cup, the coffee industry continues to forge a sustainable path. Not just with infrastructure but with the end product. In 2020, 48% of new launches were equipped with a positive environment promise. This is up almost double from a decade ago.
Café Casa is very much on board. Our coffee bags for example are housed in a compostable bag. This delivers a sustainable solution to homes, offices, boardrooms, and hospitality.

Coffee trends: global reach.
If you research coffee trends online you will see that travelling around the world, or travelling through taste, is another perhaps surprising feature.
It is believed that this coffee trend really developed during the pandemic. Whilst consumers were restricted or halted altogether in where they could travel, they used the opportunity to travel through taste and experiences. Indeed, more and more coffee brands are showcases products globally sourced.
If you think of some of the largest coffee producers around the world, you naturally think of South America. Brazil, more than likely. Café Casa gets on board with more unique coffee producers that have a rich passion for luxury coffee.
Our unique Finca Blend coffee beans are sourced from the traditions of Uganda in Southeast Africa. Sure, the Robusta beans here are combined with the Arabica beans sourced from South America, but between the two they deliver a flavoursome experience that’s well suited to any coffee.

Coffee trends: single-serve.
Single-serve products including coffee have been around a lot longer than Covid-19, though it is easy to see why this is a coffee trend that has taken off over the past 18 months.
It has during this time that consumers are naturally more conscious of health, safety, and hygiene. Shared touch points have been a key part of that. In many ways, they still are. Single-serve coffee products have been a refreshing substitute to shared coffee experiences through tins and jars.
They are touched and consumed by one consumer only, before the packaging is responsibly discarded of. This delivers a lot more peace of mind to say the least.
The fact that coffee culture has trickled into other environments has only increased the appeal of this type of product. Coffee bags are great for busy homes and workplaces, whilst our coffee sticks are ideally served in hotel rooms for guests.

Whatever you’re looking for from your coffee experience, Café Casa delivers luxury at great value for all environments and conforms to a range of latest coffee trends.
