If you are a coffee lover, it is impossible to start your day without a good cup of coffee. Not everyone is able to make it to the coffee shop first thing, though, and there has been a steep rise in home coffee consumption over the past 12 months.
You may think it’s impossible to prepare your own luxury coffee from the comfort of your own home. But with the right tools and ingredients, you can be your own barista in no time at all, brewing coffee that is genuinely as good as in your favourite high street coffee shop.
Buy good-quality coffee beans.
You cannot prepare a luxury coffee without good quality coffee beans. Café Casa offers a range of specially roasted coffee beans that will provide the perfect foundation for your beverage.
We offer our coffee beans either in single packs or wholesale. Remember to only buy what you need as storing your beans can make them lose their flavour. If you are going to store any leftover, do so in an airtight container and keep them in a cool, dark place.

Invest in a premium coffee machine.
Home coffee machines have progressed remarkably over time, and never more so than the past 12 months when home coffee consumption has soared. It’s now easier than ever to invest in a premium home coffee machine.
Café Casa provide a variety of home coffee machines and using our wizard, you can identity the right equipment for you. If you’re not looking for a traditional espresso machine, we also offer pod and capsule machines.

Use good water.
It may sound strange, but a true coffee lovers understands the importance of using the right” type” of water. Tap water contains chlorine and can hamper the coffee flavour. Distilled water can do the same because it contains no minerals.
The best water to help guarantee of the perfect coffee is bottled spring water or those from carbon filters on the taps. You should also make sure not to overheat the water as this can extract compounds in the beans that again make the finished product taste unpleasant.
The best water temperature is 200 degrees Fahrenheit or about 45 seconds off a full boil.
